About Me!

Hi, I'm Rachel, and I'm 28 and married to Adrian. We've been married for 3 years now, but we have been together for 10 years. I went to Kennet School in Thatcham where I got 10 GCSE's and 3 A Levels prior to going to York University. I graduated with a degree in Sociology in 1997 and since then I have worked for B & P Security Services Ltd doing office administration. When I'm not working I run 1st Crown Wood Brownies. Please click on the links to be taken to the relevant websites! The Brownie website is the first website I've written (and this is the 2nd!).

Guiding is my passion, and I'm proud of my camp blanket and all the badges that I have on it. Please click here to go to a page about my Guiding life and click here to go to a page dedicated to my camp blanket and badges. I am a regular chatter on Scoutlink chatting as RachJ, and at Easter weekend I went on IRCymru camp for Scoutlink chatters. Please click here to see some of the photographs that I took over the weekend.

I will also post a list of some of my favourite Guiding (and other) websites here too, but I don't have time to add them here right now!!

As well as Guiding I love listening to music - I'll listen to most things from pop to rock (especially Bon Jovi who I saw in concert at Hyde Park in June 2003). I like 80s music the most - I guess I'm digressing to my childhood there!

We all like food and drink, and on a page I have written here you can find a few things that I like to eat and drink, including Tim Tam Sucking! Again, this page is a work in progress and more things will be added over time!

When I get time I like watching films, either at the cinema (but that's not as often as I'd like) or on DVD. At the moment my current favourites are "Love Actually" and "Finding Nemo" on DVD, and Shrek 2 at the cinema!

I also like spending time with my friends, and have made a page just for them which you can see by clicking here!

Between 13th September and 5th December I am taking part in a charity fundraiser ... click here for more information!

That's all for now, but check back sometime to see if I've added anything!
