About Me!

I am 34 years old, and married to Rachel, who I have been with since 1994. Currently I work for Sun Microsystems - I have been there for just over six years now, and in my spare time I enjoy playing music.

I have pretty varied musical taste. Mozart to Motorhead via most things in between (but avoiding "musical delights" such as rap, dance, trance and boy-bands) pretty much sums it up. I have been playing Trumpet/Cornet for 24 years, and now play with a couple of concert bands including South Berks Concert Band and Burnham Concert Band. This has given me the opportunity to play in some great venues both in Britain (including the Royal Albert Hall in London and The NEC in Birmingham), and in Europe (Germany, Holland and France).

As well as enjoying music I also serve in the Territorial Army. My current unit is 202 (Midlands) Field Hospital and in February 2003 I was called up with my unit to serve in the Gulf as part of Op Telic. I was away from the beginning of March through to the end of July, initially in Kuwait but then in Iraq. It certainly was an experience I'll remember for the rest of my life.

I'm sure that things will be added to this website over the course of time (either by me or by Rachel), so please check back from time to time.
